Ogden Valley rock hunt
You found Ben Lomoose!
Hi, I'm Ben, the Ogden Valley moose. I'm named after Ben Lomond Peak, and I ride the Utah Depot train in my gold conductor's cap and blue bandana. Thanks for finding me!
What to do now
- Take a picture with Ben. Selfies welcome.
- Tell us where you found him. Tell us where you found Ben (The form opens here soon.)
- Hide him again somewhere new in the Valley so another family can find him. Or keep him if you love him. That's OK too!
Where Ben has been
Rules for hiding Ben
- Hide him where people walk: parks, trailheads in town, the library, or a business doorway (ask the owner first).
- Not on private property without permission, and not in national forest or wilderness areas, which ask people not to leave things behind.
- Never on a road, in the water, or near train tracks.
- Don't bury him or tuck him anywhere a kid would have to climb.
- Be kind: one Ben per spot, and leave the area like you found it.
More Ben
Ben hides in pictures too. Can you find him at the train station?
